What is the ACA?
The ACA is an expanded tax incentive introduced by the Irish Government that has been designed to encourage companies to invest in energy saving technology. To find out more, click HERE

What products are covered?
Virtualisation solutions utilising vSphere 4.0 Enterprise or Enterprise Plus on a range of approved servers from various manufacturers. The scheme also covers the older Virtual Infrastructure 3 Enterprise (VI3 Ent) version. The full list of approved combinations is available HERE

How much will I save?
Companies purchasing approved VMware solutions will be able to write off the entire cost of the eligible purchase against taxable income in year one.  For a worked example of what this could mean for a company with a profit of €500,000, click HERE

How can I claim?
For more information on this scheme and how to claim, please refer to this Revenue Tax Briefing.
